Welder 1 - 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Description

• Operate robotic and manual MIG weld machines.
• Inspect welds using gauges and measuring tools.
• Perform in‑station repair of defective welds with carbon‑arc process and grinders.
• Use lifting devices to position heavy fabricated metal components (up to 35 lb).
• Perform routine maintenance such as wire and tip/nozzle changes.
• Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings, and blueprints for safe, defect‑free operations.
• Apply CPS 5S, continuous improvement, waste elimination, and standard work principles.
• Conduct process and final inspections.

Requirements

• Clear common robotic welding system faults.
• Welding operation experience.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work as part of a team and be multi‑trained.
• Effective communication skills.

What this looks like: 2nd & 3rd Shift Starting Pay: $21.70 hour (+ 8% shift premium) 2nd Shift: Monday‑Friday 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM 3rd Shift: Sunday night – Friday morning 10:15 PM – 6:15 AM. Summary Pay Range: $21.70 – $27.35. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
