Project Manager – Landscape & Marble Construction

Description

The Project Manager oversees all landscape (softscape & hardscape) and marble/stone construction works for the hotel project. The role includes managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring design compliance, maintaining quality, controlling costs, and delivering all works on schedule.

• Review and implement drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Oversee marble installation including flooring, wall cladding, countertops, exterior stone finishes, and polishing.
• Coordinate daily with consultants, designers, hotel representatives, and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, site conflicts, and quality defects.
• Prepare progress reports and oversee final handover documentation.
• Monitor schedule, budget, manpower, and material usage; ensure cost control.
• Supervise softscape works (planting, turf, soil preparation) and hardscape works (paving, stonework, external finishes).
• Manage subcontractors, supplier performance, and inspections (IRs, mock-ups, testing).
• Ensure adherence to Saudi codes, project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
• Lead and manage landscape and marble construction activities from planning to handover.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

• GCC and hospitality project experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret architectural and landscape drawings.
• 12-15 years in landscape and/or marble construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of landscape works, irrigation systems, hardscape, and horticulture.
• Proven experience in marble and natural stone installation, cutting, fixing, polishing, and protection techniques.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• 5+ years in a supervisory or project management role.
• Proficient in MS Project/Primavera and site documentation.
