- Participate in a variety of planning (Phase I) and design (Phase II) projects, while providing support for construction (Phase III) projects
- Use Microstation, GeoPak, and OpenRoads to design roadway improvement plans, including plan and profile, drainage, geometrics, utilities, maintenance of traffic, and other associated design elements
- Develop construction documents, including technical drawings/plans and specifications
- Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders and develop content for these meetings
- Assist in developing technical design reports, calculations, and memos
- Participate in internal team meetings to discuss projects, technical designs, and upcoming deliverables

- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Experience using Microstation, GeoPak, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Familiarity with civil design drafting software
- Previous experience with transportation roadway improvement design projects
- A basic understanding of civil transportation engineering fundamentals.
- Desire to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license
- An engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A desire to work on large multidisciplinary transportation projects with fast-paced schedules, which require creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
