Tasks

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing Kokoda’s financial obligations- from processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to maintaining accurate records and building trusted relationships with suppliers. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Kokoda’s financial processes, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to uphold the company’s standards of excellence, precision and integrity. -Collaborate with the wider Finance team to ensure reporting accuracy and efficiency -Contribute to the delivery of world-class luxury and mixed-use developments within Kokoda’s $2.5 billion pipeline -Manage the end-to-end invoice process — from obtaining approvals and coding through to processing and recharging invoices to other entities -Reconcile supplier statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly -Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations -Manage purchase orders and the workflow of purchase orders -Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of all accounts payable transactions -Process and monitor company credit card expenditure, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations. -Play a pivotal role in managing financial operations within a growing national business -Maintain trust accounts and reconciliation on a monthly basis -Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures -Receive, review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies -Prepare and process vendor payments in line with company terms and schedules

What You Bring

-Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role, preferably within a property or construction business -Excellent organisational and time management skills -Proven experience performing effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. -Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline is desirable -Clear communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Approval Max, Dext) -Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes -Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
