Identify contract change conditions and inform relevant parties.
Verify completed work meets codes, drawings, and specifications; coordinate inspections and testing.
Support constructability reviews and value‑engineering efforts.
Compile and monitor construction financial data, tracking costs for force accounts.
Help define and prepare contract bid packages and scope coordination.
Draft correspondence for owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects.
Assist with daily job reports and schedule monitoring.
Produce drawings and sketches for construction work, change orders, and estimates.
Process paperwork for new field hires and maintain filing systems.
Update job‑costing systems, forecasts, and generate margin reports.
Capture weekly job‑site photographs.

Participate in pre‑construction planning, design interpretation, and bid preparation.
Contribute to project close‑out activities.
Develop and manage project engineering procedures and documentation.

Preserve all safety records.
Perform design and drawing takeoffs; resolve interpretation issues and conflicts.
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and employees to address needs and resolve issues.

We are currently seeking a Field Engineer I, II, or III in Atlanta, West Point, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tampa to join our Batson‑Cook family. The assigned office determines project locations, and the role does not require travel.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or 2‑3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
