The Outside Renewals Representative is responsible for maintaining and growing sales within an assigned customer base and geographic territory. The role focuses on retaining preventative maintenance contracts, increasing revenue per customer, and boosting customer satisfaction through a customer‑focused strategy.
- Maintain and grow sales within a defined customer base and geographic territory.
- Develop and execute a customer‑focused strategy to retain preventative maintenance contracts and increase revenue per customer.
- Manage all retention activities for assigned service‑agreement customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, building relationships and understanding key account details.
- Coordinate with district operations to improve service delivery.
- Identify customer needs and craft sales strategies to meet them.
- Monitor contract expiration dates and proactively initiate renewal discussions.
- Optimize contract terms, pricing, and service levels during renewals.
- Collaborate with the front‑sales team on upgrades or expansion opportunities.
- Report progress and metrics to operations and corporate teams weekly and monthly.

- Minimum 3 years experience in account management, customer success, or contract renewals within fire/security or related technical services (HVAC, building automation).
- Proven experience negotiating contracts.
- High school diploma or professional training certificate.

- Strong self‑discipline, independent and creative thinker.
- Ability to sell intangible services.

Compensation includes a salary range of $54 k–$78 k, determined by education, experience, and market data, plus a sales incentive plan tied to volume, margin, and quarterly/annual performance. The package also includes the full benefits suite described above.
