Provides testing, inspection, and certification services across diverse sectors in the region.
Review and correct site inspection reports as required.
Reporting to IDI Project Manager As IDI Structural Engineer, you will be in charge of Projects Structural Design Review related to IDI (Inherited Defect Insurance). You will perform a detailed structural review of Building Projects Design across the Kingdom, both existing and new constructions. The principal duties and responsibilities of the role include: •Prepare RDx Reports for IDI.
Follow-up with client to get the missing documents.
Review of the Structural Drawings and Buildings Envelope (concrete and steel structure); and prepare the related Design Review Reports.
Review the documents submitted during Construction (materials, test reports, etc…);
Perform Site Inspections; and prepare the related SI Reports.
Strong knowledge and experience in both National and International Structural Codes: Saudi Building Code (S.B.C.), American Codes (ACI, AISC, ASTM, TMS…). Familiar with European Eurocodes is desirable. • Able to verify and decide about status of non-conformities/corrective actions.
5 years of professional experience and 3 years in Structural and Foundation Engineering Design and Review. Ability to identify critical points and elements of structural building designs.
Knowledge of different Structural Engineering Software such as CSI-SAP 2000 and ETABS. Familiar with CYPE and BIM software is desirable.
Important to have good communication skills.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Power Point…). • Fluent in English and Arabic.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (major in structural engineering is preferred).
