This position offers the opportunity to work and lead a project team in the design, modification, and upgrade of new and existing power plant electrical systems. Reporting to the Electrical Project Lead, you will collaborate with multi‑disciplined engineering and design teams.
Key responsibilities include producing electrical physical drawings, reviewing and incorporating vendor drawings, and supporting field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.
The role requires an Associate's Degree in drafting or a high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience, plus 15+ years of detailed physical design work on grounding layouts, duct banks, conduit, cable trays, and equipment location drawings. Experience reviewing layout drawings, assisting engineers, creating construction layout drawings, and extensive MicroStation or AutoCAD expertise on power plant projects are essential, as is a strong understanding of drafting practices and the ability to communicate across disciplines.
