The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution machinery throughout the building.
Key duties include promoting a safe work environment, performing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and other equipment, and managing work orders, labor hours, parts usage, and inventory via a Computerized Maintenance Management System. The role also involves mentoring junior technicians and maintaining positive relationships across the facility.
Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive maintenance, blueprint and schematic reading skills, knowledge of electrical principles, CMMS proficiency, and competency with Microsoft Office. Preferred candidates hold an associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field, have experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and understand MHE safety standards.
