Survey Crew Member

Terrain Assessment: Aid in the assessment of terrain, topography, and property lines to assist the survey team in data interpretation.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the survey crew leader and other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of surveying tasks.

Instrument Maintenance: Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and calibration of surveying instruments and equipment to guarantee accurate measurements.

Land Marking: Assist in the placement of survey markers, stakes, and flags to mark boundaries, reference points, and other relevant features.

Field Data Collection: Assist the survey crew in conducting field surveys by setting up and operating surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and the survey crew.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate field notes, sketches, and data records for use in creating survey reports and maps.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a Land Survey Crew Member is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques is a plus.
• Physical fitness and stamina for extended periods of outdoor work.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Pay Range: $21 USD - $26 USD
