Production Worker - 1st shift/ 4-10's

Description

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the associate works at presses, assists machine operators, removes and separates parts, assembles, stacks, packages, and operates equipment. The role requires interpreting work orders and job control procedures to meet production goals.

Employees must follow all plant safety guidelines, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, tidy work area. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential, ensuring helpers understand their roles and safety protocols.

• Follow plant safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Interpret and execute company work orders and job control procedures.
• Retrieve materials, assemble totes, and prepare skids, bags, and boxes for packaging.
• Package designated quantities of parts, label them, and transport totes or skids to storage or the next operation.
• Ensure safety devices are functional and report any unsafe conditions.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and use measuring tools such as a tape measure.
• Stand or walk for 8‑12 hours per shift, handle both hands for tools and controls, and work near moving mechanical parts and moderate noise.

Requirements

The work environment involves standing or walking for 8–12 hours, exposure to moderate noise, and frequent bending, twisting, and handling of fiberglass insulation. Full use of both hands, close and distance vision, and awareness of moving mechanical parts are required.

• Maintain regular attendance and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Communicate clearly with co‑workers, supervisors, and management.
• Meet minimum qualifications: at least 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, and 3‑6 months related experience or training.

Benefits

The Production Associate position is located in Grove City, Ohio, United States. It offers an hourly wage of $20.00 and a shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with 4‑10 hour days and overtime as needed. A sign‑on bonus of $2,000 is provided, paid in two installments after 90 and 180 days.
