Works closely with the Showroom Operations Department to ensure inventory receiving is completed timely to complete invoice vouching
Facilitates payments to vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
Researches and resolves vendor statement discrepancies and past due notices
Reviews and approves employee expense reports including credit card purchases via the expense reporting application
Maintains files of paid invoices
Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice and recording entries

Strong computer skills with the ability to enter data, navigate screens, and retrieve data in accounting software
Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics or equivalent ERP system

Intermediate Microsoft Office experience including Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of basic accounting functions and general accounting principles
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager
Associates degree
2+ years’ experience in accounts payable
