The Role

Overview

Supervises maintenance staff, oversees repairs, handles work orders, and ensures building upkeep.

Tasks

-Supervise trash pick-up of all common areas and property. -Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required. -Maintain all work and common areas clean and free from debris. -Maintain and keep full stock of materials needed to complete work order. -Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. -Receive and complete work orders. -Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts. Order parts and supplies as needed. -Supervise and assign tasks to the maintenance staff. -Handle and work along with property vendors on jobs performed in the property.

What You Bring

-Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work. -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Experience doing maintenance work in similar type of environment. -Must have the ability to drive for work purposes in case there is a need for the property urgently. A vaild FL driver’s license -Must be able to provide professional written reports and make recommendations to the Property Manager and the Client on the maintenance needs of the property. -Experience in supervising team members. -High School diploma or GED -Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations within a two hour. Must be available for emergency calls.
