Prepare Single Line Diagrams, General Arrangements, Schematics, Block Plans, Layouts, Cable
Ensure self-checking of work to minimize errors.
Coordinate with engineers and project design teams to ensure accuracy and schedule alignment.
Report on drawing budget overruns and participate in cost-effective project delivery.
Produce and modify drawings in alignment with client, engineer, and project requirements.
Adhere to drawing office standards, VAULT procedures, and quality controls.
Communicate changes promptly and professionally.
Interpret instructions from engineers and drawing office management effectively.
Deliver accurate drawings within the man-hour budget and project schedule.
We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Designer, based out of our Toronto or Montreal office. This role is responsible for producing accurate and fit-for-purpose electrical and instrumentation drawings that support our engineering and project teams, ensuring compliance with client requirements, standards, and schedules.
Racking and Routing, Block Diagrams, Connection Diagrams, Hook-Up Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, and Wiring Diagrams.
We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to help screen/assess/select candidates as part of our recruitment process.
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Apply strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and related workflows.

The compensation range for this role is $68,000 to $88,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
