Bonnell Aluminum is seeking students with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for its 2026 Summer Internship Program. Interns will analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities within a manufacturing environment and will gain experience across value streams from raw material to finished product. The position offers a wage of $19 per hour.
- Pursuing an engineering degree (Process Engineering or similar) at a 4‑year accredited college/university; entering Junior or Senior year.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent design software.
- Ability to learn multiple production software packages (e.g., JD Edwards).
- Highly motivated with problem‑solving acumen.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge and keen interest in the manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma.
- Experience with aluminum extrusion processes or metalworking.
