Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service levels related to road asset management, providing regular dashboards and exception reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, technical standards and contract requirements, including road and ITS standards, HSE procedures and management systems.
Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management plans for road infrastructure, specifically linear assets including road markings, lining, vehicle restraint systems and directional signage.
Analyze asset condition and performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in road infrastructure maintenance
Contribute to the continuous improvement of asset management processes and procedures, including data governance, reporting templates, audits and lessons learned from operations and performance reviews.
Utilize GIS and asset management systems to track and visualize asset information across highway networks, including spatial mapping of linear and point assets. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to optimize asset lifecycle, coordinating with O&M contractors and field teams to optimise asset reliability and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance activities and capital projects Prepare budget forecasts and multi-year financial plans for asset maintenance, rehabiliation and replacement including scenario analysis and value-for-money considerations.
Create maintain and quality-check asset registers and hierarchies, including condition, criticality and performance metrics for linear assets, ensuring data is complete, traceable and audit-ready.
