The Case Processing Specialist provides case processing and administrative support to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the direction of ICE field office personnel. Responsibilities include processing immigration cases, managing records, preparing documents, and maintaining electronic and paper‑based case files while ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws, data security requirements, and partner policies.
- Process immigration cases, manage records, and prepare documents per DHS policies.
- Enter case data into ICE systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Retrieve and compile county, state, and federal court records and supporting materials for ICE review.
- Assist ICE legal representatives with criminal history checks and related documentation.
- Prepare, review, and manage case files; provide administrative support to law enforcement officers.
- Coordinate docket schedules with EOIR and USCIS and facilitate hearings and adjudications.
- Review applications for stay of deportation, bond, and other filings for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate interviews, hearings, removals, and case updates with ICE officers.
- Maintain up‑to‑date case status records, court scheduling details, and generate reports and dashboards.
- Track compliance with release conditions and report violations to designated ICE liaison.
- Organize removal documents, schedule removals, ensure proper documentation, and close cases in ICE systems.
- Verify detainees have necessary legal paperwork, medication, and property before transfer or removal.
- Perform routine duties to supervise detainees, conduct welfare checks, and maintain security in holding areas and during transport.

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social or behavioral science, or a related field, and have at least one year of experience in criminal justice, corrections, or a related area. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, organizational attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; bilingual ability is preferred.
