Support the development and delivery of training materials on source-to-contract systems, contractual processes and best practices.
Draft, review, qualify and negotiate a wide range of contractual documents, including frame agreements, novation agreements, amendments, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements and letters of intent.
Ensure HR, finance, tax, legal and compliance implications are considered in collaboration with relevant corporate functions.
Support the renewal and establishment of frame agreements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships within internal stakeholders across the Offshore Delivery service lines and support functions.
Provide advice and guidance on warranty claims, loss / damage claims, and other complex contractual issues.
Provide contractual support for long-term strategic vessel charters (whether time charter or bareboat charter).
Provide advice on non-standard terms and conditions, bank guarantees, parent company guarantees and seagoing vessel VAT declarations / end user declarations.
Manage complex vessel transactions, including sale, purchase, recycling, flag transfer, and change of ownership.
Identify process gaps and contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental tools, templates, and workflows.
Oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of major capital expenditure projects related to vessel mission equipment, upgrades and modifications.
Mentor and support the development of contractual expertise within the wider team.
