What you would be doing

Pipeline Reporting: Support the update and maintenance of the New Business pipeline/report, tracking active and prospective leads and opportunities.
Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of consolidated technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and brand standards.
Admin Support: Assist the BD team with new business administration tasks (document formatting, credentials, references, etc.) as required.
CRM Management: Maintain accuracy of data, contacts, and opportunities within the CRM system.
Subconsultant Coordination: Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to subconsultants; review, consolidate, and negotiate their inputs into bid submissions.
NB/Design Team Interface: Work closely with the New Business team and Design Directors to ensure technical scope can be delivered.
Quality Assurance: Ensure submissions are compliant, accurate, and aligned with 1508’s tone, style, and brand identity.
Template Management: Maintain and update internal bid templates as necessary.
Tender Queries (PTCs): Manage and draft responses to post-tender clarifications (PTCs) in coordination with design, commercial, and leadership teams.
RFI Management: Consolidate, draft, and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify ambiguities during the tender stage.
Review and Evaluate RFPs: Analyse client RFPs to identify scope, deliverables, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Contract Review Support: Provide light review of draft contracts, highlighting key commercial and legal risks for senior leadership/legal.
Commercial/Finance Liaison: Support the integration of fee calculations, exchange rates, and contingencies into proposals.
Marketing Interface: Coordinate with marketing on inclusion of CVs, case studies, project references, and proposal design/layout.
Deadline Management: Own and track proposal deadlines, ensuring timely submissions and version control.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of bid processes, tools, and templates for efficiency and consistency.
Exclusions & Clarifications: Identify and clearly outline assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications in submissions.
