The Systems Administrator role oversees the administration, maintenance, and modernization of Guardian Security’s enterprise systems, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a legacy platform slated for decommissioning. The position acts as the post‑production liaison, coordinates enhancements, tracks and resolves bugs, and manages solution releases in partnership with IT and business teams, while also supporting the migration from the legacy system.
Key duties include supporting the migration to Dynamics 365, maintaining system performance and data integrity, configuring workflows, forms, dashboards, and reports, and providing user training and documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and problem‑solving skills to bridge operations and IT for continuous improvement.
The role is primarily sedentary, with occasional equipment setup, system testing, and travel to project sites or branch locations. Employees may need to lift up to 25 lb and work in a standard office or dispatch‑center environment.
- Administer and maintain Dynamics 365 environments, ensuring data accuracy, security, and performance.
- Manage the legacy system and assist with decommissioning, including data integration and migration planning, testing, and validation.
- Gather business requirements, define process improvements, and support integration with new Dynamics modules during the transition off the legacy platform.
- Serve as the post‑production liaison between IT, business users, and vendors to track enhancement requests, coordinate bug fixes, and manage testing and deployment of updates.
- Configure workflows, forms, dashboards, and reports within Dynamics 365 to support operational requirements.
- Collaborate with third‑party vendors and internal IT on system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve data flow and operational efficiency.
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for system users and coordinate issue escalation with Microsoft partner or legacy software support teams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address bottlenecks or recurring errors.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and migration steps.
- Train users, supervisors, and department heads on Dynamics 365 functionality and new workflows.
- Support change management by gathering feedback and adapting configurations to operational needs.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Dispatch teams to ensure alignment between business needs and system design.
- Assist IT leadership in evaluating new technologies that enhance productivity and security.

The candidate must be an analytical, resourceful problem solver with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or Dynamics 365 management. Experience with data migration, API integrations, legacy system decommissioning, and familiarity with SQL, Power Automate, and Microsoft Azure is preferred.
