Complete the Company’s Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client/Site specific training.
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.
Apprentices will participate in the apprenticeship program for up to four (4) years.
Perform duties within a precise limit or standard of accuracy (Quality Control).
Always represents the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”
Will occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work off of platforms while utilizing proper fall protection and safety protocols.
Gain the knowledge to work from drawings and blueprints.

Continually gain understanding of refinery maintenance type work and knowledge of basic hand tools.
The ability to communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments about issues and solutions is important.
Must be able to perform Turnaround duties when required.
Will be required to attend apprenticeship classes for the duration of the apprenticeship.
MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card.
A steady hand and good hand-eye coordination are necessary for working with small parts.
Ability to learn how to run several types of equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.)
MUST have TWIC card.
The ability to learn how to assemble and disassemble refinery equipment.
Must work well with supervision.
MUST pass background check.
May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
Employee will be standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.
Must be able to complete work assignments under the close supervision of a journeyperson.
Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures is crucial.
MUST produce a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow and wind; and must be able to work for long periods of time, up to 12 hours a day.
Must be able to hear, speak, understand and communicate effectively.
Zero (0) to four (4) years in refinery maintenance experience.
Ability to learn how to select the proper tools and equipment to complete a job.
MUST obtain and maintain active status within the appropriate drug testing program.
