Prepare unitized and small lump sum bids, maintain pricing data, and support estimating team.

Tasks

-Manage and update Activity Codebook/Material Codebook. -Assist in the transfer of bid information to HeavyJob and Vista by Viewpoint. -Maintain and source the best value and diverse subcontractors/suppliers/resources. -Conduct a Project Handoff Meeting that is initiated by the Execution Team. -Prepare unitized and smaller scope lump sum bids. -Participate in project post-mortem reviews. -Ensure pricing is updated in Heavy Bid Software.

What You Bring

-Knowledgeable with P6 -Strong computer aptitude and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. -Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. -Required: High School Diploma or GED -Estimating experience preferred. -Ability to communicate orally and in writing. -Experience working with Diverse Supplier Tracking and Identification. -Construction project management experience preferred. -Knowledgeable with HCSS/Heavy Bid software -Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions. -Ability to agree on completion dates and times for delegated work, paraphrase or repeat all verbal requests, keep track of delegated work, and complete delegated work on time with no surprises. -Ability to travel to job sites as required. -2 years of verifiable experience in a construction office environment performing administrative or project coordinator duties. -Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. -Knowledgeable with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, quotes, purchase orders, etc. -Required: Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in a construction office environment performing administrative or project coordinator duties. -Multiple monitors, standing desks, and other ergonomic equipment to match your work style. -Knowledgeable in City, County, and municipality requirements (i.e. Standard Plans and Specifications). -Understanding of CPM scheduling via MS Project. -Experience with contracts and AHJ Permits/Spec/Standards. -Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean record.
