Senior Tendering Engineer

• Conduct technical feasibility studies and propose solutions in coordination with the Sales team.
• Estimate the cost of products and solutions using costing tools.
• Prepare technical documents for quotations, including Scope of Supply, Technical Notes, Deviation Lists, and Spare Parts Lists.
• Monitor and track expected projects in consultation with the Tendering Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate with suppliers/vendors for non-standard components whenever required.
• Revise offers to incorporate client comments whenever required.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to increase local added value in products and solutions.
• Participate in techno-commercial discussions with Sales and, when required, with customers.
• Prepare contract reviews and hand over confirmed orders to the project team.
• Support improvements in the costing structure.
• Report hit rates and offer validity periods for quoted projects.
• Communicate with Sales and customers during the technical evaluation phase.
• Review customers’ Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and specifications and select optimum solutions from the range of products offered by Eaton Arabia.

Technical Skills

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Tendering Engineer to join our Commercial Operations team. This role is responsible for reviewing customer product and technical requirements, preparing accurate technical and commercial documents for quotations, and supporting the Sales team during techno-commercial discussions. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in switchgear manufacturing, strong estimation and tendering expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and compliant offers.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and related software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong expertise in estimation and tendering for switchgear products.
• 4–6 years of experience in estimation and tendering within a switchgear manufacturing company.
