Project Engineer- 2-3 years experience

We at Aldecor are looking for a proactive Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of interior fit-out and civil projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining seamless coordination among multiple stakeholders.

• Identify potential risks such as design conflicts or material shortages and implement preventive measures.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, milestones, and resource plans with the Project Manager.
• Act as a bridge between the Project Manager, consultants, and clients for smooth communication.
• Track project schedules against baselines and recommend corrective measures.
• Inspect site work for quality, design adherence, and safety compliance.
• Maintain detailed reports on project progress, material usage, and site challenges.
• Conduct regular site and coordination meetings with engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
• Manage client expectations, address concerns, and share timely progress updates.
• Conduct morning briefings with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and manpower productivity to minimize rework and delays.
• Review daily reports from Site Engineers and consolidate for management.
• Resolve on-site issues swiftly in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and statutory codes.
• Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations and report any site safety issues.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and verify deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and vendors for design clarifications and approvals.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups before execution.
• Prepare MIS reports, change orders, RFIs, and documentation for billing support.
• Oversee site execution across civil, interior, and MEP works, ensuring alignment with drawings and BOQs.
• Track material inflows, vendor coordination, and manpower allocation.
• Support vendor negotiations and verify contractor bills against site progress.
• Track material deliveries and ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction project execution.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Exposure to a dynamic project environment with cross-functional collaboration.
