Work closely with other Supervisors to achieve plant SQDCP metrics.
Work cooperatively with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve production issues in an efficient manner and assist in the resolution of quality / production problems. Identify and eliminate root causes of problems and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
Provide manufacturing leadership to fully engage employees and foster a productive work environment.
Ensure employees receive training on procedures relating to safety, quality, and production. Conduct training, cross-training, and rotation of employees for product, process, and employee development.
Promote a strong safety culture where employees believe that all injuries are preventable. Investigate and prepare reports on safety near-misses, injuries, and workplace hazards.
Evaluate team members’ performance and provide coaching and guidance to improve employee’s skill sets.
Conduct regular crew meetings to provide production employees with the information they need to do their jobs. This includes communication of safety, quality and production changes, progress toward goals and overall plant performance.
Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Operate within standard operating and Quality procedures.

Experience, knowledge, or training in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation and listening) and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
Ability to grow and mentor talent.
