Tasks

This is a role for a Class 1 Driver located in Hungerford. The Class 1 Driver will be responsible for transporting heavy machinery and plant equipment to various locations. Daily tasks include loading and unloading equipment, ensuring safe and timely delivery, and maintaining accurate delivery logs. The driver will also inspect machinery and vehicles for any issues prior to departure and ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.

What You Bring

-Excellent organizational and time-management skills -Good communication skills and ability to work independently -Valid Class 1 driving license and a clean driving record -Flexibility to work variable hours and adapt to changing schedules -Experience in transporting heavy machinery and plant equipment -Strong knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards -Previous experience in plant hire or construction industry is a plus -Ability to perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance -Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools
