Field Superintendent

Description

The role manages and directs subcontractors and employees to complete projects according to plans, ensuring safety, quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.

• Direct subcontractors and staff to finish projects safely, defect‑free, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing business plans covering labor hours, cycles, costs, and product specifications.
• Establish production and quality control standards, budgets, and cost controls.
• Guide erection process planning, including personnel, materials, subcontractors, facilities, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate erection and field service activities across functions to optimize resource utilization.
• Review production reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Perform administrative tasks for field operations, such as compiling and retrieving production data for reports.
• Define staff responsibilities and schedule subcontractors to achieve business objectives.
• Contribute to research and development of new products and strategic planning for the erection division.
• Train employees on company, governmental, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Travel daily to job sites with occasional out‑of‑town assignments.
• Provide low‑cost health, dental, and vision plans.
• Provide a 401(k) plan with company match and profit sharing.

Requirements

• Hold OSHA 10‑hour and 30‑hour certifications and PCI Field Auditor certification.
• Possess a college degree (preferred) or equivalent experience; 5‑7+ years related experience required.
• Include 3‑5+ years supervisory experience.
