- Operate and maintain mechanical laboratory equipment, including vacuum pumps, stirrers, and pressurized systems.
- Learn basic functions of other departments, such as Quality, Analytical, Shipping, Customer Service, EHS, Production, Maintenance, and Purchasing, to work with respective areas effectively.
- Develop familiarity with the standard analytical procedures used for material characterization, including IR spectrometry, UV spectrometry, gas chromatography, Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Viscosity, Flash Point, and % Solids.
- Operate and maintain electronic laboratory equipment, including temperature controllers, timers, and distillation controllers.
- Safely set up and operate lab scale glassware, distillation columns, and instrumentation for tests, research, process development, or small-scale manufacturing.
