The role includes supporting the Group Leader by monitoring team performance, collaborating with other regional Team Leaders, and leading projects from inception through completion. Responsibilities also cover delivering environmental assessments, managing approvals, and preparing and negotiating bids and proposals.
Key management duties involve overseeing health and safety performance, ensuring effective team utilisation, and managing the talent lifecycle through recruitment, development, coaching, and succession planning. The Team Leader will nurture a collaborative, inclusive culture and support team members in achieving Chartered status or other professional registration.
Candidates must hold a relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, management or ecology and have at least seven years of experience in environmental services. Strong people‑management, business development, project delivery, interpersonal, consulting and negotiation skills are essential.
