The position focuses on creating and governing API contracts that modularize the simulation core and bring legacy tools into modern service‑oriented architectures. You will be responsible for designing secure, repeatable integrations across tools, data, and orchestration layers.
Work is performed on‑site, hybrid or remote with up to 15 % travel and standard working hours. The role requires coordination with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

- Ensure transparency, repeatability, and security across all integrations, including tools, data, metadata, and orchestration.
- Design REST/gRPC APIs and GraphQL schemas for core simulation services such as timing, state‑of‑play, user input, and orchestration.
- Lead API governance covering versioning, schema evolution (OpenAPI/JSON Schema/proto), deprecation policy, and documentation.
- Wrap existing simulation and wargaming tools as secure web services via SDKs, standardizing OIDC/JWT authentication and mTLS.
- Implement API gateway patterns for routing, rate limiting, quotas, request validation, and zero‑trust controls.
- Model metadata and lineage, tagging tools/inputs/results, and expose reconciliation endpoints for verification, fidelity assessment, and repeatability.
