• Plan and manage weekly and monthly prefab production schedules
• Sequence prefab work to align with field installation priorities
• Review and approve prefab build sheets, BOMs, and release packages
• Manage prefab labor, productivity, and efficiency targets
• Control prefab labor costs and document field labor savings
• Enforce QA/QC standards and inspection sign-offs
• Coordinate prefab deliveries with Project Managers and Superintendents
• Partner with BIM/VDC to expand prefab scope and standardization
• Enforce safety policies and maintain organized prefab operations
• Achieve on-time prefab delivery
• Meet planned vs actual prefab labor hour targets
• Improve prefab labor efficiency and productivity
• Maintain prefab cost variance and reduce field labor hours
• Meet safety performance metrics

Requirements

Hays Electrical Services is looking for an experienced Prefab Manager to lead and scale electrical prefabrication operations. The role oversees planning, execution, and control of prefab production for large commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects, ensuring assemblies are delivered on time, install-ready, within budget, and meet quality standards. This is a leadership position, not a bench foreman role.

• Attain high first-pass quality rate and low rework percentage
• Minimum 7+ years electrical construction experience
• At least 3+ years in prefab, production, or operations leadership
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods
• Proven ability to manage labor, schedules, and budgets
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and BIM models
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and accountability skills
