

Provides emergency cleanup and reconstruction for residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, mold, storms.
The Restoration Estimator reports to the VP of Operations and plays a vital role in serving communities during their toughest moments. They communicate scope and expectations with clients and adjusters, celebrate project completions with homeowners, project managers, and office teams, and continuously learn about scoping and signing construction projects while having fun and contributing to a growing business.
Restoration Estimators collaborate with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as fires or floods to clean up and repair residential and commercial properties. They are on‑site to accurately scope projects, sign work for production teams, build relationships with insurance professionals, and set expectations to restore structures to their original condition.
Key job functions include meeting operational objectives for sales, gross margin, and brand experience; tracking metrics like a Net Promoter Score of 60; clearly communicating expectations with project managers and adjusters; profitably scoping estimates and signing projects; documenting change orders and insurance supplements; ensuring projects stay within profit ranges and service level agreements; participating in an on‑call rotation; and engaging in community events while establishing relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and TPAs.
The team needs individuals who can build foundational, trust‑based relationships, actively listen, and generate work for project managers while bringing a fun, results‑driven personality to the role.
Qualifications require the ability to deliver truth and certainty to property owners, proficiency with modern technology, a focus on continuous learning, strong planning and organizational skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Prior estimating experience (e.g., Xactimate) and industry certifications such as IICRC and Lead are preferred, with training provided for candidates who meet other criteria.
Desired skills encompass self‑motivation, a love for working with people and estimating software, effective scheduling with flexibility, strong interpersonal abilities, succinct and professional written communication, a hard‑working attitude, and a servant’s heart focused on caring for others.
