BIM / 3D CAD Technician Ahmedabad/Bengaluru/Chennai

Description

• Develop MEP models according to design and BEP standards; resolve clashes and coordinate with other discipline models.
• Act as the focal point for MEP design interfaces, collaborating with global multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Ensure MEP deliverables comply with SYSTRA policies, quality management, safety practices, design processes, and ISO certifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all design coordination activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or design conflicts during design and construction phases.
• Liaise with specialist engineering teams to align design work with best practices and mandated standards.
• Secure BIM model clash resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

We are seeking applications for the position of BIM / 3D CAD Technician for the HS2 project.

• Understand project scope, client requirements, schedule, and budget.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience on large‑scale metro rail or infrastructure projects.
• Proven BIM design delivery on international projects, preferably in the UK, Europe, or the Middle East.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in culturally diverse organizations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities in integrated project delivery environments.
• Self‑motivated leader capable of influencing without authority.
• Experience in metro rail design; proficient in Bentley MicroStation, Civil3D, and ORD.
• Skilled with BIM and digital design tools for MEP integration.
