  • Utilize heat treating ovens, oxy-acetylene torches, and liquid nitrogen for precise installation of subcomponents.
  • Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Assemble horizontal and vertical pumps using hand, air, and power tools, following detailed Engineering Instructions, Drawings, and Work Orders.
  • Support and participate in company-wide Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in work instructions by collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Planning, and Project Coordination teams.
  • Coordinate with fellow Assembly Mechanics to ensure efficient workflow and assist with complex tasks.
  • Perform detailed grinding on impellers, components, and assemblies to meet exacting specifications.
  • Follow company and departmental standards and procedures.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly environment preferred.
  • Experience with centrifugal pumps preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
