Create new quotations and change orders and following requests from Project Design and Project Management teams.
Attend industry specific trainings and stay current on technologies and products.
Exhibit and adhere to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.
Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
Assist the Project Design team in reviewing preliminary lighting, shading, and controls designs created in our Scope software, ensuring designs are complete and buildable.
Work closely with the Product Specialist and other stakeholders to ensure the pricing and product information in the quotation system is current and correct.
Transpose sold schematic designs into quotation software to create detailed bills of materials.
Assist Project Design team with budgetary placeholders for the Scope software as needed.
Coordinate with outside vendors and subcontractors to receive estimates as needed.

Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
Experience in architectural lighting, shading, or motorized controls and lighting controls is preferred.
Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating Systems and Programs
High school diploma or GED required. College level coursework a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Team-oriented to collaborate effectively with peers. Mission-oriented, willing to jump in and take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to get the job done.
Excellent technical aptitude, analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Tech-savvy, able to quickly pick up the use of new apps and software.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
Enjoys digging deep to learn how systems and products function and relate to one another.
Be fully present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus
Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
Experience using an ERP software such as D365 is a plus.
