Prepare technical and financial bids and engage in business development activity
Manage project finances (including invoicing and contract/commercial management), tracking progress and budget on assigned projects ensuring commercial success
Remain point of contact for clients, addressing needs and queries on assigned projects
Prepare high quality written reports and technical analysis with ability to present outcomes
Assume the role of Project Manager on medium-sized projects taking responsibility for the successful delivery
Provide management and direction of sub-consultants on assigned projects
Develop an understanding of Mott MacDonald methodologies and project management principles, and implement on live projects
Technical delivery and management of small and medium transport projects with minimal supervision.

Skills in managing own time and the time of others, setting priorities for others in order to meet deadline.
Candidates in the UAE will be preferred.
A self-starter and the ability to work both alone and in teams resolving complex tasks.
Membership to a professional institution affiliated to the transport sector.
Bachelors in Transportation and Civil Engineering; A MSc in Transport Planning or in CivilEngineering would be highly advantageous.
Highly competent in the use of junction capacity analysis software SIDRA, Synchro and HCS.
Experience of managing working on multi-disciplinary proposals.
Working experience of using industry standard transport modelling software such as CUBE (STEAM) and/or VISSIM/VISUM.
Demonstrate the ability to use initiative to solve the majority of problems that could occur on a project
Experience in making sound judgements on complex and sensitive issues.
Abu Dhabi project experience required.
Minimum 8 years’ experience (minimum of 4 of which should be in the UAE).
