Deliver full lifecycle cable engineering packages from feasibility to commissioning.
Review complex HV cable system designs, including route development and risk assessments.
Perform cable rating and system studies such as ampacity, short‑circuit forces, and thermal stability.
Conduct cable pulling, jointing, cleating, and installation feasibility studies.
Collaborate with civil, structural, substation and OHL teams for integrated solutions.
Support third‑party inspections and FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure compliance with IEC, CIGRÉ, and other standards.

Possess experience in HV/EHV cable system design engineering, with FEED experience essential.
Demonstrated understanding of onshore cable routing, mechanical forces, burial risk assessments, and electromagnetic/thermal analysis.
Knowledge of national and international standards such as IEC, CIGRÉ, and NG‑TPs.
Experience with cable system ECI engineering, subsea control solutions, manufacturing, testing, and inspection verification.
Familiarity with tools like CYMCAP, WinCable, AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and mechanical simulation software.
Minimum HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards chartership.
