The host is responsible for processing guest check‑ins and check‑outs, issuing room keys, and addressing guest concerns while adhering to Kolter Hospitality and Hyatt Place standards, policies, and procedures. Additional duties include preparing, stocking, and serving beverages and food, setting up and breaking down meeting spaces, and handling cash‑handling tasks such as billing and posting charges.
- Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, issue room keys, and resolve issues according to company policies.
- Coordinate guest requests and inform guests about hotel services, features, and amenities.
- Prepare, stock, and serve quality beverages and food following recipe and presentation standards.
- Set up and break down meeting spaces and prepare food for meetings or events.
- Perform cashiering tasks such as bill settlement, posting charges, and making adjustments.
- Follow safety procedures and respond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security threats.
- Cancel room reservations per policy and report items needing repair.
- Work most weekends and holidays, stand or walk up to eight hours, and handle occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Provide personalized guest service and contribute to the company’s growth and success.
