Description

We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Analyst I to join our environmental laboratory team in Kilgore, TX. In this role you will be actively engaged in daily laboratory operations, supporting critical testing through sample preparation, analytical testing, and accurate documentation within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You will work hands‑on with instrumentation, contribute to quality and compliance initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well‑organized laboratory environment.

• Perform sample preparation, analytical testing, and data entry according to approved methods, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, conducting routine calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Accurately document and review results within LIMS or designated systems.
• Support the laboratory’s quality system by following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), assisting with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
• Assist with general laboratory housekeeping, inventory management, and cross‑training as needed.

Candidates should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, and professional laboratory experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting are required.

• Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related area, or have equivalent experience.
• Professional laboratory experience preferred, including hands‑on use of instrumentation, standardized analytical methods, and data interpretation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
