Description

• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete jobs on schedule and within budget.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and Kentucky state plumbing codes.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and execute necessary repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, valves, water heaters, drainage systems, and backflow prevention devices.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Position SummaryThe Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Kentucky Journeyman Plumbing License, have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in both plumbing construction and service, and be comfortable with traveling between job sites and being on-call as required.

• Travel to various job sites as required, with the flexibility to work extended hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in plumbing construction and service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using plumbing tools, diagnostic equipment, and power/hand tools.
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the Lexington/Frankfort region and be available for on-call assignments.
