  • Prepares drawings and visual aids
  • Performs moderate design tasks and prepares portions of project documents
  • Assists on other tasks such as preparation of permit applications, material testing, CADD work, filing air space studies
  • Edits specifications
  • Receives supervision and guidance relating to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. Receives direction on unusual conditions and developments.
  • Performs research and investigations
  • Collects data and gathers information or documents
  • Observes construction activities and/or basic survey services and completes accompanying reports

  • Previous consulting experience on FAA and/or DOT projects in the Central Region is a plus
  • Software experience should include AutoCAD and/or Microstation. Familiarity with ArcGIS is preferred.
  • Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills. Represents the organization in communications and conferences pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments.
  • 1-5 years of experience in airport planning, design, and general civil engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; P.E. license is preferred
