Commercial Roofing Estimator

Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commercial Roofing Estimator, based in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities include analyzing construction plans and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates for roofing projects, and performing quantity take-offs. The role involves collaborating with clients, project managers, and vendors, developing budgets, generating proposals, and maintaining active communication throughout project bidding and completion.

Requirements

• Strong Communication skills for effective client and team interaction
• Expertise in Construction Estimating with a strong background in cost analysis and budget preparation
• Previous experience in the commercial roofing industry is a significant advantage
• Additional familiarity with construction software and tools is beneficial
• Knowledge of Roofing systems and materials, including familiarity with commercial and industrial roofing projects
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Proficient in Project Management and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and project details
