Join QIC’s Global Infrastructure PMG as an Analyst or Associate in strategic research & Analytics. In this Sydney-based, permanent full-time role, you’ll turn market signals into portfolio-strengthening insights and coordinate research, reporting and analytics across global funds and mandates, shaping the data and narratives that inform PMG decisions and investor engagement.

- Leverage strategic portfolio models to inform construction and investment views; update quarterly client collateral with portfolio metrics and commentary.
- Support valuation cycles, macro scenario and attribution analyses, optimisation work, and develop tools to advance portfolio management capabilities.
- Assist with preparation of quarterly market reports and client insights, proposals, due diligence questions and marketing materials.
- Maintain key datasets and contribute to research papers, presentations and briefing materials that elevate QIC’s thought leadership and brand presence.
- Work closely with the Global Infrastructure team, including your mentor/buddy, the Portfolio Management Group, Investment Operations, and our Client Solutions & Capital teams to deliver on shared outcomes.
- Track macroeconomic and sector dynamics across Transport, Energy & Utilities, and Social/Healthcare, translating these into clear, actionable insights for QIC’s Global Infrastructure investment activities.
- Contribute to the coordination of projects and new initiatives.

- Ability to swap public holidays for those of personal, cultural or religious significance
- Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).
- 1–4 years’ relevant experience in the investment industry, i.e. from Investment Management, Investment Advisory, Valuations Consulting or Real Asset Firm.
- Proven research capability (data gathering, analysis, reporting) and demonstrated financial/valuation modelling skills.
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science or Law.
- Collaborative team player with solid project management and time management skills.
- Clear, concise communicator with strong quantitative and analytical ability.
