  • Designing, conducting and/or overseeing site investigations including soil, vapor, and groundwater
  • Grow the business: Collaborate with business development and program management teams to identify and pursue new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Be a connector: Actively seek out, build, and nurture lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and partners through networking, outreach, outstanding project work, and consistent communication.
  • Mentor and manage: Lead, motivate, and oversee the local team, manage team workload, provide coaching and feedback, track group performance, and support staff development while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Deliver technical excellence: Contribute to complex environmental projects, including:
  • Ensure high quality service/product delivery from the team
  • Drive performance: Monitor project profitability, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure excellence across the board.
  • Due diligence projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
  • Lead with energy: Inspire and guide project teams, keeping momentum high and ensuring smooth execution—even when challenges arise.
  • Be a brand ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Proposal development, cost estimating, and reporting

  • Licensed Professional Geoscientist or Professional Engineer preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of environmental and regulatory programs and processes as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • 10+ years of direct environmental experience commensurate with the described duties of the position.
  • Naturally outgoing and enjoys interacting with people.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with new contacts.
  • BS degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • Multiple years of experience in team management and client-facing roles is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
