Investigate and solve a wide range of distribution engineering issues using established or innovative methods.
Provide technical guidance and support related to system operations, troubleshooting, and equipment modifications.
Develop safe and effective engineering solutions, including design development, problem analysis, and interpretation of engineering specifications.
Conduct independent studies, prepare reports, and provide engineering recommendations that align with organizational standards.
Collaborate with senior engineering staff on complex or unusual engineering problems to mitigate risk.
Support project and operations management teams in meeting safety, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
Support the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and expansion of the distribution system.
Perform periodic field work such as construction quality control and design compliance monitoring.
Perform system analysis and contribute to planning, protection, design, and project management activities.

???????Valid Permit to Practice and willingness to use digital signing/sealing (Notarius).
Demonstrated technical experience in overhead and underground distribution systems ?35kV, including automation.
Ability to maintain good standing with Engineers & Geoscientists BC (EGBC) throughout the contract.
???????Registered P.Eng. with EGBC (or registered elsewhere with immediate eligibility for EGBC).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with overhead modeling tools such as SpidaCalc or PLS-CADD.
Prior utility or distribution engineering experience.
Minimum 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering preferred).
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with industry-standard design and analysis software.
Familiarity with CAD systems and drawing standards.
Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and willingness to travel as needed.
