The UGE Laborer/Groundman prepares and cleans construction sites, loads and unloads building materials, operates equipment, and assists craft workers with their duties. This role supports the construction team and collaborates with department personnel.
The position operates in a field environment and routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and twisting, often in inclement weather such as extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. It also demands clear vision at 20 feet or 20 inches, precise hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to identify colors.
