Operations Manager

Description

• Manage the PM staff and the General Supt. through coaching.
• Attend WIP Meetings with General Manager at close of month.
• Review walls up payouts.
• Assist in Supt. project assignments.
• Responsible for our employee review process and goal setting for direct reports.
• Facilitate and outline pre-planning meetings for projects.
• Get involved in teaching and training staff.
• Approve all sub pay applications weekly.
• Discover and implement new ways of running our projects to get better.
• Attend foremen meetings and assist when necessary.
• Ensure budgets are in line with the estimators margins and if not review with PM & Estimator.
• Responsible to remove or help navigate through roadblocks for the team to be successful.
• Discover and implement new ways for our team to be successful in new product lines.
• Responsible for great customer relations.
• Schedule and attend all monthly DRIVE Meetings.
• Approve all field raises.
• Assign all new projects to PMs.
• Schedule, outline & facilitate weekly snapshot meetings (production meetings).

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Prior knowledge of construction techniques and scheduling of purchases.
• Specific Skills: Ability to work well under pressure, and must have skill in the use of computers and Microsoft Office.
