The Substation Technician maintains, repairs, modifies, replaces and installs a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment for Energy Erectors (EEI), adhering to their Safety First Culture. The role supports construction of new substations as well as modifications and upgrades of existing substations for electrical utility companies. Per diem is provided when applicable.
This job operates in a field environment and routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in inclement weather. Precise hand‑eye coordination, color discrimination and clear vision are required.
