• Collaborate with Project Managers on estimating, material procurement, and overall project management.
• Work closely with experienced professionals as an essential part of project teams.
• Participate in Hooper’s Capstone Project and various intern events throughout the summer.

Requirements

The Project Management Intern role places you at the heart of Hooper's construction projects, allowing you to translate classroom knowledge into real‑world experience over a 12‑week full‑time summer internship. Interns can work in either the Electric Power Division or Mechanical Division, building professional networks while developing core project‑management skills.

• Pursue a degree in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and passion for the field.
• Possess prior knowledge or exposure to the construction industry (advantageous, not required).
• Exhibit a team‑oriented, collaborative mindset.
• Be proficient in relevant software such as Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD.
• Commit to full‑time work (40 hours per week) for the 12‑week summer period.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and engage in fieldwork as needed.
