Leading the Datalinks team to review ‘current state’ processes and procedures (Front End Process / SIOP Process / Sales Quotation Process), identify areas for improvement and execution in making the necessary transitions.
Manage product vision and strategy for airborne and ground-based communications, maximizing CONOPS flexibility through modular configurations, aligning with the company’s broader goals.
Coordinate with external training partners to deliver product education through digital platforms and in-person sessions (ECS Academy).
Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop compelling messaging and sales enablement tools as part of the New Product Development (NPD) process.
Prepares technical content for proposals and supports creation of system block diagrams and top level BOMs
Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Support teams to bridge the gaps between teams and ensure alignment towards product and roadmap goals
Alignment with other relevant and applicable companies within the CommTech division to align technology share to leverage growth (KTS)
Analyses customer requirements and provides technical solutions and related documentation to assist the business development staff in the sale of company products and systems.
Represent CommTech at industry events and customer briefings, articulating product value and roadmap.
Monitor field performance and recommend enhancements based on operational data and customer feedback.
Setting pricing strategies and positioning new/existing products
Identify and lead on the implementation of AI technology for the Datalinks Business Unit – forming the product development and relationships to bring this to market.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including defense integrators, law enforcement agencies, and strategic suppliers.
Responds to customer inquiries concerning system features and applications, pre-sale and post-sale. Refers as necessary to appropriate personnel.
Product lifecycle management from concept through launch and sustainment.
Support creation of technical documentation and training materials for pre-sales and post-sales support.
Work with customer experience and analytics to architect reporting dashboards to support program deployment, sales execution and customer adoption
Help build an airborne managed service that can generate a new recurring revenue stream for the Datalinks Business Unit.
Serve as the subject matter expert in Datalink technologies, including COFDM-based RF systems for video, data, and voice over IP.
Take a lead on the End of Life (EOL) process regarding to datalinks products.
Conduct market & competitive analysis, product gap assessments, and voice-of-customer research to guide roadmap decisions and prioritizing the areas for investment that maximise value.
Collaborate with Engineering and Compliance to ensure product specifications meet technical and regulatory standards.
